have you tried the typhon by itself plugged in the same place as where the MXRs are plugged in? this way you get the noise suppression with no limit on current. not even extra connections?

Has anyone else who purchased the Triton/ Typhon combination found that it takes months not weeks to break in? I'm now a little over 2 months in and I'm still hearing improvements. I did not use a fan or any heavy load to start, only the front end and occasionally plugged my amps in to increase the load. It took a good 7 weeks to get a decent soundstage and bass out of this combo. Really worth the wait though!

Umbilicals
Shunyata offers Zitron Cobra,Python, and Anaconda umbilicals as well as a standard non Zitron one. These are offered at a considerable discount as they are shorter than standard power cords. Just received my Typhon today; the Anaconda umbilical is on its way. To say I'm excited is an understatement!
