Grant, can you forward the patent numbers? I'm curious to read them. BTW, I'me very happy with my Shunyata products.

Cheers,

Gregory

Are you tuned in ?

Hi Pradeep,

I am certainly thinking hard on this...my dealer has always worked closely with Shunyata. Also...likely doesn't hurt anything they've sent me on loan I've bought from my dealer. so better than 'vegas odds for Shunyata! (and better odds I suspect for my system improving

Have sent a mail to Shunyata...but I suspect as they don't have a current(sic !) distributor in India, it may be a long haul

Default triton have surge/spike protection?

Have been using a PS Audio premier but am thinking of a switch to the triton.
Can users familiar with both explain whether the triton has surge/spike protection for gear plugged into it. Going from a regenerator design to a filtration design have any drawbacks?

I had a P5 and a Triton. The is NO comparison. The used market speaks for itself. There are always countless P5's and 10's for sale on "that other site'. Rarely do you see a used Triton for sale. I sold mine here within hours and I'm still regreting it.

Well, I emailed Shunyata...called my dealer (Ne Plus Ultra in Austin, Tx) and have a Typhon on the way soon. With a Anaconda Zitron connecting cable.

Really looking forward to this...will let you know when I have first hand listening experience soon...

Penthouse,
Just curious why you sold your Triton. My personal view is one acquires Shunyata gear, but never sells it, there's too many things you can use it with. For example, I am using a spare Shunyata Venom3 on the NEC 24" pro color monitor I use for digital photography image edting.
