ok dokie...quick question on interchangeability of 6550s with KT88s. I know they are generally interchangeable, but will they have different optimal bias settings than from the 6550s? I am just curious if I ever wanted to tube roll different output tubes in my Ref 110. Thx

PS: would love to hear your impressions. I have never tube rolled my output tubes so this would be kind of fun if you think these are worth a go at it.

I believe ARC tech support will advise you to stay within the 6550 series and NOT venture into the KT88 relm (at least that's what my friend who owns ARC told me, IIRC).
