Very musical, great clarity on the softest of musical passages, good detail, all around winner for long term critical listening without any fatigue.

Thanks Dan, I also read the review on Stereophile, somehow I tend to trust the members on this board a lot more than the professional reviewers. In fact, I forwarded your OPPO BDP 83SE review/comparison to so many of my friends (hope you don't mind) as it was so well written and straight forward without any conflict of interest.
