Default Allnic H5000 DHT Phono

My demo unit arrived here in the UK. This is a pretty special piece. Does some incredible things and will take some time to fully understand. Without getting all wordy and verbose on you, let's just say that I have simply never heard vinyl replay like this before. A whole different ballgame to my usual resident H3000+HA3000 as well which in itself is right at the top of the pile.

If you are in the market at this sort of level and heavily invested in vinyl then do anything you can to hear one of these magnificant beasts.

I had a chance to listen to the H5000 recently at the home of the North American distributor and completely agree. It is a stunning performer with impeccable build quality

Hi, the build quality is first rate. Very solid and beautifully machined/constructed.

Like the old saying goes, if you never heard the 5000 then the H3000 is perhaps all you'd ever wish for (especially in conjunction with the headamp) but truth be told, the 5000 is a whole different ballgame just as the prices suggest.

that's what i was afraid of.....you always get what you pay for.
i've never seen any allnic gear in real life as they were never represented here until just recently. soon perhaps!
the h3000 would be my absolute budget limit, either that or ref phono 2se.
h1201 looks good but sure upgraditis would set in soon enough perhaps.
