Power control from C2500/MX121 to MC452
Hi All,
Do you think there would be an issue using a mini-stereo splitter on the amp end running power control from both the C2500 and MX121? I'll be using a JL CR-1 feeding from both units and want to control the amp from both pre/pro. Hope that makes sense...  Thanks, Karl

Karl.......I would not back-feed to control voltage from one preamp to another. I would contact Chuck Hinton at McIntosh for a definitive answer.

Your correct Scirica. The key is the CR-1, which will allow me to power off the c2500 when not in use as I would not want to run a tubed preamp all the time for L/R multichannel use. The CR-1 allows me to bypass the two channel setup so I can run L & R from the MX121.
Net, turn off the MX121 which powers off all of my amps, and then I want to be able to power on the C2500 and have it power on the MC452. I was thinking a y-splitter on the amp end may work but back feeding power control is a concern so we'll see what Mcintosh has to say.

I should add that the "key" here is that I also intend to share my subs between multi-channel and two channel listening, thus the CR-1.
