I've always loved the look of the Royal Oak face and it is on my 'someday' list.

Exact same watch. (Great minds think alike, eh?).

I think the stainless face automatic is perfectly classy, but understated, and could be worn everywhere including the boardroom. I don't know what exactly it is about the cut of the face and the band, but that exact AP is a goal watch of mine.

I used to own a Royal Oak Offshore. Loved the watch except how the bezel used to get dinged from the slightest contact with anything.... Sold it.
Perhaps the RO is less prone to that with a lower profile bezel.

I'm very interested in this watch since a long time, but as Serge mentioned, I didn't buy it because I was aware of the every scratch it takes very quickly...

someday I could take the plunge however...very nice watch! (one month ago I was on the point to buy the chrono in rose gold on alligator....gorgeous!)

Jean-Marc, you can always get the rubber clad ROO. No scratches and dings to worry about.

i have a Royal Oak Offshore in SS. Yes it does get dinged a lot but then all my watches get dinged a lot.

The ROO is a tiny bit small on my wrist. 3-4 more mm would be perfect.

I would love the ROO in carbon
