I have heard them and they sound terrific, just think at that price I would rather have Burmester.

Cool: If you consider trading some higher end Burmester, I may give up on my eXclusive gears.

My eXclsive are C7a, M8, DV-AX10 and PD-T09. I need to add the table and speaker (probably TAD) to be complete.

Yes, you could replace it with Conrad-Johnson!

I have not heard the Exclusive line but I did get to hear most of the TAD electronics and they sounded great to me. The TAD room with the C-1's and their gear was the best sounding "small" or normal sized room at RMAF.

Very Nice Table! You are lucky to have two of these very rare vintages. I am trying to get a hold on the P3 and a pair of M7.

Pioneer CDP and the SACD player that I am using with my C7a and M8.

Jim,

TAD electronics are very expensive. I think they charges more than that of Burmester and MBL. When Pioneer ended the Exclusive line, I think they transfer all the technological knowledge to TAD to charge more $$$$$.

I am not even sure whether TAD's electronics are available yet at any dealer to audition. When I asked that question at RMAF the answer was no. Although I like the look of TAD a lot more than Burmester the pricing would prevent me from considering either line at this time.

Nothing I have heard lately is sufficiently game changing to make me want to spent big bucks to switch gear. Most product sounds really good now so it comes down to personal preferences for design and price.
