Cable Ends - Banana Plugs
Hello - I presume the ends of the cables are fitted with banana plugs prior to connection to the male and IEC. Are they crimp? I guess you have to be careful with the size/length. I have a terrible time with wire strands loosening. Looks great.

"I'm using Viablue OFC crimp sleeves on the IEC side, nude cables on the plug side. The sleeve cover the full length of the nude wire, so no loose strand here.
They are screwed very snug so I don't have to worry about loose wire " Sorry I forgot to ask earlier, is there a reason why the crimp sleeves were used on the IEC side only? Thanks. |

It's EU regulation ... IEC plugs are made for use with sleeves whereas plug have a system with two pieces of metals that hold the wire in the right position and thus you don't need sleeves
