I'm using S-DLY 1 with 2x oversampling, and 0dB XLR output.

Darren, welcome. You've been a silent member for a while?

I'm still using 2fs and s_dly2 on my k -03. But I should experiment more. Still breaking in.

Thanks Ivan.

Yes Marc. Been enjoying myself reading all the members postings here.

Was on s_dly1 with no upsampling for a while and tried 4x but just could not get used to it even running in the unit for over 100 hours. Finally gave 2x a try and like it.

I am afraid to listen to a K-01. I would most likely want one. Very happy with my K-03 for now.

Hi Paul,

Then I would gently suggest not going out of your way to listen to the K-01. The K-03 is a tremendous CD/SACD player and DAC in its own right. Be content with your choice, have fun with it and enjoy the music.

Best,
Ken

Thank you ALL.
Indeed, K-01 is an excellent choice.
Still playing around with different settings and trying to run in.
Amazed by the performance. Able to handle all music very well. pop or rock or blue or classical. Come on man!!! lol

Had my Esoteric SA60 for last five years and happy with it for time being as I played more vinyl than CD. The Esoteric K-01 is very nice built and am sure it will sound terrific. Sure there will be many happy owners.

For the past 2 to 3 days I have been playing with K-01 and mcd1100. Trying out different interconnects as well. And I just notice my 2 CDs got badly scratched. I suspect it caused by K-01 cd tray anyone got similar experience??
