Stan Getz feat. Joao Gilberto - The Best Of Two Worlds

Nice music and recording, to my liking

Listening on CD, reading and touching a real pamphlet

Edit: a special mention to the recording engineer Stan Tonkel (that's what pamphlets are there for!), who was also in charge of all Miles Davis masterings from 1967 onwards, as well as many other legendary recordings such as Glenn Gould's Bach Goldberg Variations and Shakti/John McLaughlin to name a few...

Recorded in 1975 (Columbia)

Stan Getz - Tenor Sax
Joao Gilberto - Guitar, Percussion, Vocals
Heloisa Buarque de Hollanda - Vocals
Oscar Castro-Neves - Guitar
Albert Dailey - Piano
Clint Houston, Steve Swallow - Bass
Billy Hart, Grady Tate - Drums
Airto Moreira, Reuben Bassini, Ray Armando, Sonny Carr - Percussion

Excellent live performance and recording with flamenco/arabic/indian/jazz influence.

Recorded in 2005 (Enja), via Qobuz although I own the CD/DVD Box.

Renaud Garcia-Fons - Double Bass

Kiko Ruiz - Spanish Guitar

Negrito Trasante - Drums & Percussion

Playing the CD this time, excellent music and recording.
