Default Now shipping, new WE 300b tubes.

After being on the waitlist abd waiting years, western electric is shipping tjeir new 300b tubes.

Mine arrived this week.

Has anyone tried them yet? Views?

Heard their versions current in 2019 and their integrated amp and big monos in Munich 2019,..one word,...glorious

Not sure that I will use them any time soon.

I have Shindo WE300b amps, though I think those are 1988 we300b’s in them. I have some 1950’s engraved base ones in the closet too.

I just wanted to make sure I had some just in case.

I keep debating whether or not I need a 300b amp. Maybe in the fall.

I do. With horn speakers.

My question is these 300b tubes compared to older WE or other 300b tubes.

I find the WE 97A mono amps to be quite intriguing and beautifully made. Sure would love to see either TAS or Stereophile do an in depth review of them.

Some manufacturers have a review policy that if you want to review their product buy it. Then you can say anything you want about it. Not sure if WE operates from that point of veiw.
