And also. It is the brand with the industrys coolest name and logo. I am getting upset for all abuse this brand have been going through the latest 20 years!

I agree. Having sold Infinity speakers as an audio consultant in the '70s, the Infinity line has now been dumb down to the point of mass market audio. There is nothing high end about any current line of Infinity Speakers. I own the entire Infinity Composition Prelude PF-R line as well as a set of Infinity RSb. They still sound great and I have no intention on selling them. I'll get them recone when they rot out. I think Harman dumbed down these speakers to make way for their Revel line of speakers. With my old Infinity speakers, their old saying is true, "There is Nothing Beyond Infinity."

Kappa 9 were my first "serious" speakers, sound was soft with lot of bass, but they were difficult to find a good amp with them

Agreed. I'll bet their Infinity Composition Preludes P-FR sound better.
