The 5.5” mid bass is beginning to loosen up and play the lower notes a bit cleaner. I currently have only 50 hrs on the Nova 1.

As the famous philosopher Robert Plant once said, “Nobody’s fault but mine.”

That’s a nice kit you got there!

Since this is our secondary system it does not get as much play time as our primary in our main listening area. Now have 68 hrs total on the Mc an Sf pairing.

I’m still feeling I need to add a sub or return to floor standers (get 100% trade towards either Olympica Nova III or WA Sabrina X).

If you still love the sound and looks of Sf, go with the OIII. Another thought in the Sf family is the Maxima Amator. They have the same spec as the OIII (35hz to 35khz) and are in the same price range, and from what I've read can produce quality bass. The Sabrinas are great speakers too, but it's certainly a different sonic direction.

Thank you Tony. I am partial to the Sf sound and may give my Nova 1 50 more hours of time prior to making my decision. Less $$ outlay would be to add a REL S/510. My dealer offered to allow in home trial of Sabrina X. I was not enamored with them in their store. I suppose I should also consider a JL Audio 10” sub.
