Can you get original replacements?
Last time I checked, Nautlius parts where still available.

Well I finally made the upgrade to 802D3’s. I previously had 803D3’s and 805D3’s. I think that’s they sound amazing but I need to play with placement. I am driving them with a Classe 2300 but might switch to McIntosh as I have a MC 501 driving my HTM1D3.

I have the same amplifier along with a Ayre KX-5 Twenty Preamp and this combination sings with the 802 D3. I would be curious what more power could bring and have been thinking about a Bryston 14B3 Stereo amp which would have substantially more power but not sure about the affect overall on the sound.

I went from a Classe 2300 powering my802d3’s to McIntosh 611’s, as I wanted more power. I will say my speakers have never sounded better. I knew McIntosh would give a warmer sound signature, but I am surprised by the amount of detail I am hearing.. I am hearing things in music that I never knew were there. I am, however, using a Classe 5300 for my center and surrounds. Enjoy the 2300 as it is a very good amp.

I went from a Bryston 14B SST to 28B3 mono block’s on my 802N. Yes now over powered and sound of the 28’s is fantastic! So much easier to listen to all day long. Even at low volume, it controls my speakers and drives much better then the 14B.

I’ve never listened to Mac gear, but great reviews and work well with B&W speakers.

I have never heard Bryston’s, but would like to. Everything I read about the new cubed series is very positive.

I am sure the 28B3 will drive the speakers much better than the 14BSST but I have read numerous reviews that discuss how the cubed series is much more organic than the older SST, so I may try and trial the 143B (cubed series) and see what difference this makes.

As I side note I started with the N802's and progressed to the 802D2 and now the 802D3. Each version was a significant upgrade with the D3 being the biggest improvement yet overall. Enjoy the N802's I am sure they will perform well for many years to come.
