Default C2200 display problem

I think I can find 10937P IC on my own.
I hope it will be fine. It is just a display driver.

but disappointingly, both Mcintosh and AudioClassics were not very helpful at all.
the replies were short, sorry part not available. They should at least give me some
suggestions.

I am sorry if showing IC price, not audio stuff price, is against forum rules. Please delete it if they are.

And if plenty of parts are still available out there, should Mac restock them ?

I was thinking of doing that.

In this case, I should also stock spare VFD display of C2200 while it still last too. Not that expensive got a quotation from A.C.

But there are quite a few ICs inside that can be fail.
Cant stock them all.

Hi, turned out that Mcintosh has replaced that discontinued part with new part with different part no.and is available at XX $ which is a good news indeed.
I ordered mine from local electronics store for 8$ however, so I will try the
cheap one first and if it works, I should have a spare.

What so surprised to me is that AudioClassics did not know about this
new part number. or did not do some homework before replying to me, or just not willing to support me in anyway. they simply replied that the part was unfortunately no longer available and " sorry no", " sorry I don't know " for
all other questions I sent to them. I asked is there an alternative, the reply was
" sorry I don't know" . Oh come on, you repair and service vintage Mac as a
business.

For those of you who may own a Mac that use the same 12 characters VFD such as MR85. the display driver IC part number is now 13354900. the 133347 has been discont.
