Several years back when I was experimenting with Aperture placement, Paul Wakeen suggested first removing any other acoustic panels before placing the Apertures.
I spent a few months trying the Apertures in different positions and then experimenting with some of my prior panels brought back into the room to see what combinations and placements worked best.
Have any of you tried the Apertures without other treatments before settling on final placement?
