As someone who has moved back & forth between separates and integrateds in smallish spaces several times, I always find that I am happier with the SQ provided by the separates. In fact, I've been playing with the idea of another integrated amp, but your thread convinces me that I would be silly to do so. My current system is sublime. Maybe a pair of monoblock amps?
