I ended up using the Digikey version, it had better grip on the inside spade connector than the Furutech version which had smaller blades inside. The Alpha v2 power cable really works like a lever on the outlet. So I don’t think I can blame the IEC connector. Easy to swap if you have a small socket wrench (tight quarters around the nuts you must remove).
