j3brow, the rack is a CWD solid walnut double rack. It's well out of the sound field. Almost zero vibration where it sets. It cost about 5,000.00 20 years ago. I really like it. It's part of me. I'm attached to it.

I've always wanted something under my Mac electronics. I wonder how Pedestals compare to Still Points? Any thoughts? The Pedestals have the "V" material. Does this make them better? I've never been much into vibration control, power conditioners, cords, thinking that just a well designed power conditioner, cord, IC's etc. was all that's needed. I looked up Still Points but couldn't understand the principles.

My dealer sure has a nice display of Wilsons: XVX, Alexx, Alexia V2. Beautiful. I'd love to hear the Alexx vs the Alexia v2 but only had time to drop check off.

I suppose I will never stop spending money until I have no more to spend. Dinner at Flemings tonight to celebrate.

Best

Charles
