The Lumin U1 mini has caught me eye and started flashing "value" signals at me.
For less than half the price of the Lumin U1 and Aurelic Aries G2, the Lumin U1 mini offers the following:

The U1 mini still has an attractive enough aluminum chassis and a well shielded switching power supply.
At $2100 vs $6200 difference, I can live with the smaller, less fancy but still good looking chassis of the MINI.
The $4k saved will buy a new, dedicated ROON core vs my aging computer and there will be money left over for an REL sub I have been thinking about adding to my system.
