I don't understand the fit and finish complaints about PMC speakers. I auditioned a friend's OB1i's, then purchased my EB1i's for there wonderful sound and good looks. The cabinet designs are typical British boxes, but the cherry veneer work all around looks excellent on my speakers and integrates in a nice low key manner with the living room's furnishings. None the less, I still find the PMC EB1i's to be well made and quite attractive. Best of all, they sound amazing. I have owned them for three years without the first itch to replace them with something else. For me, that tells the whole story.
