DBT can give misleading results unless both pairs of speakers are set up optimally, and it's rare that any two speakers will not have different optimum heights for listening, as well as distance from room boundaries, amount of toe-in etc.. If Harmon are using DBT to demonstrate that their speakers are superior, it's not difficult for them to tweak the setups in their favour. I'm not suggesting they've done that, intentionally or otherwise, but i would still treat any claims with considerable caution.

Having said all of that the Salon 2's are a really great speaker, and very easy to get sounding good in most rooms. But they are quite inefficient, and need nearly twice the voltage for the same SPL as a B&W 800.
