Like every new digital source a little 'tuning' will be necessary. But it nails the basics. Instruments sound 'right' and the speakers disappear. I do like the smaller footprint of the MHDT DAC's though. I think I'd be happy with the Orchid too. I do prefer this DAC over the Havana.
Abbas has a SPDIF cable and I may try it.
Someone on his forum said his cables are pretty good.
