You are correct. The system has limitations. It does store and play 24/176 & 24/192 files but down samples them to 24/96. No DSD either. The unit can play 24/192 thru their speakers.
It has been some time but there will be some upgrades to the software. The original developers who sold SooLoos to Meridian are working on the update and are getting suggestions from the SooLoos community.
