Hum X--A Good Solution to Hum Problems!
The Ebtech Hum X is a simple, yet clever circuit that solved an irritating hum problem I was having in my listening room. The Hum X solved my 60-hertz hum problem while retaining the safety of an earth ground and without causing detrimental effects on system sound. I would recommend first following the step-by-step instructions from the PS Audio website to identify the source of the hum (a DAC in my case), then simply inserting the Hum X between the power cable to that problem component. Hum problem solved!
