I'd like to "dabble" into the world of music servers as well so it will be interesting to me how this plays out for you. I was at the NYC audio show last week and there where a few servers in action, maybe more laptops, but definitely more vinyl. The laptops sounded better than servers, but they where playing mostly high rez files. Don't discount the Bricasti. The BAD and Bricasti are very good, but I'm real smitten with my Bricasti and before it arrived most of my listening was done on a low 5 figure analog setup. Now, that has changed. Always best to listen and have a supportive dealer to lean on. Good luck.
