Jim, Congrats on your new acquisition!
When I had my 710 side by side with ARC REF150 for one a half years, actually preferred the 710 (no, not a fair comparison considering price disparity).
Inspite the REF150 being tube, surprisingly the SS 710 presented the denser more palpable images - not to mention excelling in speed and dynamics as it rightly should.
*Careful cable choice helps ease/ameliorate somewhat their slightly cool tonal balance, ime. Enjoy them and keep us posted!
