Actually she would probably strangle me with a very expensive interconnect or speaker cable - easier for her to handle, and she seems to notice those more than she does the black boxes on my racks - she is sure that lamp cord would work just as well.

When the 20' Wire World balanced interconnects for the sub came in, she immediately asked "how much" and then went ballistic - even when I told her that they only cost about half as much as they actually did. . . . . . I've got to time deliveries to occur when she is away from the house. - - - Before I retired, I always had stereo stuff sent to my office.

George Washington would never have made it as an audiophile - Always telling the truth is impossible in this hobby.
