If you can’t swing that then go with the new Venom V14 Digital.

Hi Caelin - Thanks again for the helpful advice above a couple years ago re: plasma TV cables. Rather than start a new thread I figured I’d ask a new, related question here as this thread has been so informative. I’m considering an upgrade from a plasma TV to a new OLED TV. The OLED TV model I’m considering has a C13 input connector, but it is recessed on the back of the TV and so would require a compact C13 IEC connector on the power cable.

It seems like the two best options are a Shunyata Alpha Zitron Z-PC10 Digital or a Shunyata Venom 14 Digital, as both use a slim, molded C13 input connector. The Z-PC10 has larger conductors (10 awg vs 14 awg), noise reduction, Zitron circuit, and seemingly better quality conductors and connectors. The Venom 14 Digital being from the current NR line is 100% EMI/RFI shielded and likely has better noise reduction, which I’ve read in other of your posts here is the primary concern with digital-only components.

Which cable would you recommend for an OLED TV and why?
