I owned a pair of JBL100's, and hammered them for years with many hours of great music. I bought them new in 1979, and after many years gave them to my brother in 1989. He passed away two years ago, but the L100's are still in his home being enjoyed by his wife. I replaced them in 1989 with a new pair of JBL 4312A monitors that I still own, and drive them with a McIntosh MA5100 integrated amp. They still sound damn good.

I also own a pair of JBL LSR6332 monitors, and five LSR6328P active bi-amp speakers. These are serious studio monitors, and are only available through pro audio dealers. The LSR6332's are 3-way passive, and are very much in the vain of JBL's line of 3-way monitors. All great speakers.

Favorite? LSR6332's. They are kick ass speakers.
