Naples is worst along the coast and we live well inland. While they lasted a long time we only had category 1 winds in our area.

Where I work in Fort Myers is far different. Widespread damage and no power to over 90% of the town. Many of my employees live in Lee and Charlotte county and they all seem to have some damage.
My parents live near the Caloosahatchee River, but are safe.
My cousin in Island Walk in Naples had a similar experience. ~6mi from the coast.
Another cousin about 10 blocks inland from downtown in Ft. Myers reports her home is fine, but power out.
Still waiting on a 3rd cousin to report in from Charlotte Harbor (he refuses to use modern communications, so the other cousins will head up his way once roads are good).

Has Craig (crwilli) checked-in? He may have had problems with the storm surge in SC.
