To be objective, it's not enough to simply take measurements. In ASR's case, they often don't even bother to listen to the components they measure. I don't know why they're afraid to listen, but for measurements to really have value, they should be correlated to what we hear. Otherwise, what's the assurance that the measurements are meaningful or were properly conducted? Faith? That's not objective.
