Plinius has released some of the finest amps on the planet. I owned an original Plinius SA250 back in 1991. Developed issues with it, and although long out of warranty, Plinius paid to have the amp repaired locally, parts and all. Who does that?
I later moved on to a SA100 mk2, then a mk3, and later an SA250 mk4. I was in amp heaven. The late 90’s were great times for audio. Lots of websites for trading, and AG was new, hot and heavy, before they sold in 2003 or so.
Anyhow, I’ve been in tube world ever since. But I have very fond memories of Plinius. However today’s prices make them unaffordable for many.
