We’ll see. But right now as I connected the I2S cable and turned the power on, a Sound Liaison recording was the first thing already teed up in my Bryston BDP-3, and while I’m sure I have a few weeks of ups and downs, cold right out of the box (okay, not so cold, this is Miami) it sounds like it added an octave to the low end from what my Spring did.
