One of the results of my recent visit with Ivan was the purchase of one of these fans. My phono preamp sits on an open rack and even though it's open on all sides, I thought the shelf about 4 inches above it restricted ventilation too much.

This AC Infinity S-8 is the perfect solution. It is extremely quiet and because my rack is to the side of my listening room, it's inaudible from where I sit. The price is silly cheap, yet it doesn't look out of place sitting on top of an ARC Ref Phono.

I'm especially glad that I bought this because I've been listening to a lot more LPs recently. That's largely because of the other recent purchase I made from Ivan. I'll post on that in a separate thread.
