It's a miracle!!.. Well, sort of..
A few days ago I was thinking that I have pretty much nothing to lose in trying to fix it myself by bending back the pins inward the center of the connector. If I break some pins, so be it and it will go to Bryston anyway..
So this afternoon I carefully bent each of the four splits with a flat jewelry screwdriver and once they were all four close to the center, I squeezed them with a pair of tweezers, enough so that when the tiny pin of the BNC cable is inserted, it is snug and makes good contact. Well, I am happy to report that it worked and I am now using my Kimber KS2020. There is no signal degradation/distortion that I can hear.
Ultimately I know I would prefer a real fix but for now I am happy. I won't be removing the cable to prevent damage and avoid loosing the female connector.
Thanks and happy new year 2022!
