I think the MT10 looks great.
I have the Avenger Reference. I wouldn’t settle for the regular Avenger if that’s the route you’re going. Magneto platter, rim drive, better feet, fatboy 12” gimbal or dual pivot. Plus you’re looking at a hi end cart. It’s gonna cost a lot more than the MT10. Just keep it.

Seriously, if I had a MT10 as a gift from my spouse, I'd have to keep it forever.
If I wanted a different turntable I'd make a new system and not tell the wife. I'd have to sneak around the garage late at night like a smooth operator listening to my 78rpm jazz records.
