Hello, Thanks you for the comments. I've been a little preoccupied and not able to respond thoroughly. General comments below:

I have tamed the highs through a cartridge swap on the turntable. The treble extreme on the Denon DL-103 may have been exploited with the, somewhat hot, horn. I swapped in a DL-103R with Soundsmith Sapphire cantilever. The mid to high transition is much smoother, more detail, less congested. It is the congestion that may have been the issue I was experiencing earlier.

My cabling is very simple: Belden spec from from Blue Jeans Cable. I will not purchase upgrades without demo'ing in house. I just have not been in a situation to give the cables much attention. I will keep this suggestion in reserve for later.

I will be picking up a second turntable this weekend and get an opportunity to test a still more accurate and refined source.

Small changes in placement have produced noticeable changes in bass response. Do not take my above post out of context: the bass is fantastic -- I was just expecting a little more... I placed the brass footings under the cones and feel the response actually lesson slightly from when the speakers were sitting on the furniture style sliders. More testing is required. I feel that bass traps will be required behind the speakers to smooth out response.

I will have time dedicated to further tests and measurements around the holidays. For now, work is ruling my life.

Thanks again, and yes these are "particularly beautiful speakers!"
