Not true, the input/output impedance matching far exceed the traditionally accepted rule of thumb 10x or more factor. Zero technical issues in matching these two pieces. As far as "optimal" voicing, that is something else altogether, and heavily relies on personal preference. You may prefer one over the other. Personally I love the match. I preferred it to the 2600/462 which also sounded amazing, just slightly different in tonality. For reference, those 2 pieces actually have a better "Theoretical inout/output impedance matching numbers".
