We put the Tungsram 12AX7s in the line stage and MC stage of the C2500, and got a bit more detail right away. The stock tubes tested weak after use, so I can't pass judgement on those. Boss-girl, being a Mechanical Engineer, couldn't help but getting into tube rolling. Haven't lugged the MC2301s out yet.
