Rock.......The Revox B77 Mk II is an outstanding reel to reel tape recorder. My first Revox was an A77 that I had for about five years. It was a 1/4 track deck. The B77 I have now is a half track deck, so it only records tape in one direction, but man, oh man does it sound spectacular. Recording vinyl or CD's is no challenge for it. I have done some live recording with it, and that is where you truly appreciate the frequency range, particularly the dynamic range that a Revox 1/2 track machine is capable of recording. It is an amazing tape machine.
