I have been watching Mahomes for 2 years now. This was easily his worst overall performance. Two interceptions that were both his fault and a number of passes that were just plain not well thrown. Those who saw him tonight and attempt to evaluate him on this one uncharacteristic performance (in which he still found a way to win) are sorely mistaken. He is no Brady, I agree. Brady is a very, very accurate pocket passer ----who had the best protection in NFL history for most of his career and, up until this year, had at least 6-7 seconds to relax in a huge pocket before throwing a pass. He was also immobile and went down when anyone got near him in addition to being shaky under pressure. But he does have 6 Super Bowl rings, an astonishing achievement. I must ask--What other team could Brady have played for during his long and illustrious career and been a top notch quarterback? The answer I'm sure is none----other than New England Patriots with the greatest offensive lines of all time and the greatest coach of all time.
Great? yes. Greatest of all time? Not in the top 5
