The first time I used that Twister clamp, I didn't know how far to "untwist", and the heavy metal cap popped right off! Could've put a real dent in a record OR deep-6'd a cartridge if I'd been unlucky. That was a real "WTF, Clearaudio?" moment -- how hard could it be to have a stopper? On the other hand, the products that they design & engineer properly are so good!
I could live with the Twister now that I'm aware of this; it's a decent clamp, but that first time put me off for a bit!
