Most subs are slow and bloated or boomy sounding. JL subs have the reputation of being fast. I was not sure if the JL sub might be too fast for my SF speakers. The other question then becomes which JL sub for my small 16 x 16 size 2 channel room ? I was thinking either maybe a F112 or the F113, but I am not sure which one without hearing
. I want the bass to be subtle without drawing attention to the fact that a sub is in the system ie add a touch of sub 30 hz bass and support the above 30 hz sound of the cremona's without total domination .
