Harmony was at one time a company in and of itself. They sold out to logitek many years ago.
Prior to Harmony being bought out the remotes were very well built and the programming software was awesome. You could tweek the thing to your hearts desire. Then came the buy out and the "idiotproof" software that crippled the units abilities to do the complicated tasks as they should be done.

It will be very interesting to see what happens going forward but I have a feeling the days of really tweeking are gone forever no matter the outcome.
To many people were satisfied with the limited abilities to program and ease of getting a handful of equipment to work in a partial fashion. To bad they never realized the full capabilities.
