Default Is HF linearity as important as all that?

To some degree I’m sure it is, but it seems to be one of the things Pass amps don’t do “phenomenally well”. In the few reviews of Pass amps containing measurements, it’s seen as not “being as good as” other contemporary amps. It’s seen again and pointed out in the INT-25 review - but does it matter?

My friend has been living with a X250.5 for years and IME the high frequencies I hear out of his system are sublime. Kent English did say one of the areas they improved in the .8 is linearity - at both low and high frequencies. I find no problem with my 260.8’s. So has anyone felt this is an area that is somehow holding back the potential of Nelson’s amps? I don’t.
