The SSD direction you are taking has not shown itself to be universally successful, free of issues, etc. Here is a quote from one owner who has the 750 which is pretty much the same. (He speaks of his contact with another person who tried the SSD route):
This person, (name withheld) told me he has the unit working with SSD. I duplicated his configuration down to the model of the hard disc he use. While the re-configuration to SSD, somehow the MS logic board stop working. Later to find out, the issue I had with the SSD is the same he been experiencing. So.. no new break thru with SSD and I lost a logic board for trying. This does not mean you will have a disaster, but if you wish I can point our your post to him and if he agrees, you could PM each other.
