I have a 780 and I like it a lot. It feels really nice in my hand. I think the volume buttons should have been more distinct, but you get used to them. I also have an older unit, I think it's a 700, and the software runs just fine on Win7. I think all the old units are supported on the newer s/w.

I must admit, these URC's are not for everyone. The programming can be a little tedious and head-scratching, but I like the ability to make a custom program for whatever unit I have. If you want simplicity, then Logitech is the way to go. Didn't they decide not to do remotes anymore, though?
