I prefer toe in with a fairly big space between the speakers (around 3.15 meters). I sit 3.7 meters away from the speakers and it is a good balance of focus and stage width. But this is all personal. You must experiment. And if I change a component (even a cable) I always tweak the speakers position. Hope this helps.
